Spring Enchantment

Warmer temperatures, longer days, and outdoor flowers and plants blooming are just around the corner! Springtime is a favorite season at Reiman Gardens, highlighted by its monthlong celebration known as “Spring Enchantment,” which runs April 1-30, 2024.

Enjoy the beauty of spring with our bulb display of more than 50,000 tulips, hyacinths, and more during our Extended Bulb Hours from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. on the dates of April 18-20 and April 25-27. Regular admission rates apply.

Rovers at Reiman returns for its second season each Tuesday in April from 4:30 p.m. - 7 p.m. Back by popular demand, visitors to Reiman Gardens are welcome to bring their dogs for a walk through the Gardens. Bring your family and furry friends for a fun, casual, new experience, and watch our grounds turn greener throughout the month.

The Mid Iowa Woodcarvers Show arrives at Reiman Gardens on April 20, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Guests can watch carving demonstrations, view carving contest entries, and participate in hands-on whittling sessions. The regular price of admission applies.   

All month, search for whimsical fairy doors and creature homes created by local artists and volunteers hidden throughout the Gardens. A total of 31 adorable and artful pieces will be part of a scavenger hunt that is sure to thrill all ages.
