Butterfly Blizzard

Important note: please register for the number of participants and the total number of butterflies your party wishes to release. Maximum 5 butterflies for each group booked.

Come inside to experience a different kind of blizzard – a butterfly blizzard in Reiman Gardens’ Christina Reiman Butterfly Wing! You won’t want to miss this opportunity to release your very own butterfly in this tropical, indoor garden. Register early, as this activity usually sells out very quickly.

Participants can arrive anytime between 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. The Butterfly Wing opens to the public at 9:00 a.m., so you may want to consider arriving by 8:30 a.m. Butterflies will not be released after the Butterfly Wing opens to the public at 9:00 a.m. The accompanying craft station will stay out till 9:30 a.m.

Participants will get to choose how many butterflies they release (they must specify how many when they pre-register). Each butterfly will be in its own container. Participants will learn a little about each of their butterflies and how to release them. They will receive a certificate with their name and the species of butterfly they released. A butterfly-related craft will be available that guests may also participate in if they choose.
