Family Movie Night: Disney's "A Bug's Life"

Join us for a special showing of Disney's "A Bug’s Life" at our end-of-summer Family Movie Night!

Grab your crew and make a bee-line to the gardens with your lawn chairs & blankets for a cozy movie under the stars. Feel free to pack a picnic or snacks—no need to get antsy over dinner plans! Come out for a buzz-worthy evening of fun as we wrap up summer in the gardens while supporting Reiman Gardens’ education programs!

Saturday, August 29, 7:00 - 10:00 PM

• Doors open: 7:00 PM: Enjoy hands-on crafts & activities—a perfect way to get those imaginations crawling.
• Movie begins outdoors: ~8:00 PM: Popcorn, ice cream, and refreshing beverages will be available for purchase to keep everyone happily munching.

• Bring lawn chairs and blankets, and a picnic dinner or snacks. (Popcorn, ice cream, and beverages will be available for purchase.)

7:00-8:00 PM - Crafting Stations:

• Create a Butterfly
• Butterfly Origami
• Build-A-Bug

7:00 - 8:00 PM - Arthropod Exploration Stations

• Join our Entomology department for up-close encounters where you'll learn more about different invertebrates in our collection. You might even get to pet or hold a few!

8:00 - 8:15 PM - Gather in the South Field

• Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and settle on the grass for the movie!

8:15 - 9:55 PM - Showing of Disney's "A Bug's Life"!

• View the film in front of the backdrop of the Bald Cypress Allee. (We'll move indoors if there's rain.)
