Ames, IA — Reiman Gardens is excited about the return of its highly anticipated annual event, Spirits in the Gardens, taking place from October 11-13, 2024. This family-friendly celebration of fall and the Halloween season promises to deliver an enchanting experience for guests of all ages, combining seasonal charm with a touch of Halloween magic. It's a Central Iowa tradition you don't want to miss!
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the gardens at night, illuminated by twinkling lights and 1,000 jack-o'-lanterns artistically carved by community members and staff. Special highlights of this year's event include:
- Pumpkin Displays & Lighted Pathways: Enjoy a collection of creatively carved pumpkins lighting up the autumn evenings, perfect for capturing Instagram-worthy moments.
- Seasonal Beverages (Friday): Enjoy both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including a fall-themed selection of local brews, provided by ISU Catering.
- Live Entertainment (Saturday and Sunday): Delight in performances by local entertainers, providing a festive atmosphere throughout the Gardens.
- Candy for the Children (Saturday and Sunday): Visit our Candy Factory at the end of the route to collect treats from the candy slides. Treats will be available all evening on Saturday and Sunday only!
