BURLINGTON, IOWA (May 22, 2026) – Iowa Travel Industry Partners (iTIP), the leading statewide association of the tourism and hospitality industry, has announced the recipients of the annual iTIP Awards. The awards ceremony will take place at the annual meeting on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, in Amana.

Reiman Gardens has been honored for its strong commitment to sustainability through thoughtful operations, environmental stewardship, and community-focused programs. The Gardens have embedded sustainable practices across their 17-acre site by transitioning to electric landscape equipment, conserving water through rain collection systems, composting plant waste, and prioritizing native and regionally adapted plants that support pollinators and reduce chemical use.

Beyond its grounds, Reiman Gardens extends its impact through education and outreach, including hands-on classes and its Grow and Give program, which donates tens of thousands of pounds of fresh produce to local food pantries while promoting sustainable food systems.

The iTIP Awards are open to all individuals, private businesses, for-profit and non-profit organizations offering a tourism and/or hospitality service in Iowa. Nominations occurred throughout the spring with the iTIP Foundation Board of Trustees scoring the applications. All recipients were nominated by their peers.

“Tourism is powered by people who care deeply about their communities and the experiences they create for others,” said Chelsea Lerud, Executive Director of Iowa Travel Industry Partners (iTIP). “These recipients are the individuals and organizations that consistently go the extra mile, and their work deserves to be recognized and celebrated.”
