Reiman Gardens joins the Iowa State University community in remembering Warren Madden, whose decades of leadership and service helped shape the university and the Ames community. His support of Reiman Gardens reflected a commitment to education, community, and the power of connecting people with the natural world. His legacy lives on in the places he helped build, the programs he supported, and the countless lives he touched. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his wife, Beverly, and their family.

“Warren Madden was a true champion of Reiman Gardens. He believed in the Gardens, shared his enthusiasm for it with others, and demonstrated his support through his generosity and commitment. His instrumental role in bringing Reiman Gardens to its current location helped shape the Gardens we know and love today. We are deeply grateful for his vision, his advocacy, and his lasting impact on Reiman Gardens. His legacy will continue to flourish in the beauty and growth of the Gardens for generations to come.” –Christine Prescott, Director of Reiman Gardens
